You'll need 1# of sliced bacon, 1-14oz. pkg lil' smokies sausages, 1 stick butter/margarine, 2 cups brown sugar, and 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce.
Preheat oven to 375*
Leave your pound of bacon one "piece" and cut it into thirds, so you end up with 3 separate sections of short slices. Wrap each smokie in a piece of bacon and stick a tooth pic through it, or just lay it in a baking pan. I use a glass cake pan so the juice doesn't spill over in the oven. Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave, then stir in the worcestershire sauce. Add the cup of brown sugar and stir it in. Pour, or spoon this evenly over the smokies. Now sprinkle the second cup of brown sugar evenly over the top. Bake at 375* for 15-20 minutes, then turn the oven to 400* and bake another 5 minutes. If you like the bacon crispier, bake until It's as crispy as you like at 400*.
Not exactly a healthy snack, but I only have them a couple times a year and they sure are good. I Just took a picture of the finished product, but I've got a cheap cell phone and it didn't come out worth posting.
