elk backstrap
« on: November 21, 2017, 06:15:00 PM »
I shot an elk this past October and gave a package of  backstrap to a friend.

He told me he just broiled it in the oven for 2.5 minutes on a side. I tried it -so simple. And wow! It is my new favorite.

I just called him and told him I wasn't giving anymore away.

Yes sir! Simple is better with Backstrap. Medium rare & absolutely no marinade on that wonderful cut of meat.
