I've gone to using pretty much all wool plaids when the weather will allow it. There is something about the way wool diffuses light that I feel really makes the difference. I have a Teresa Asbell shirt that I wear alot. As for printed camo, I always thought Predator was about the best.

Predator with King of the Mountain Autumn Brown a real close second.

ASAT and the pinnacle of ASAT is their 3D Pro Vanish suit.
But a ghillie suit is the pinnacle of all camo.

KOM blowdown, Autumnwood winter and Predator. IMO, most camo patterns are too dark and have too little contrast.

Hunting from a tree stand in Ohio, in late October and November ,my back drop is mostly grey trees and grey sky. The Natural gear and sc2 work great. Hunting the ground I would like Predator cammo. But I do not hunt the ground often at all.

I think camo does more for the hunters state of mind then anything. Gives you confidence. Gene Wensel shot deer wearing a Santa Claus suit so what does that tell you? Turkey's, that's a different story.

ASAT or neutral colored flannel.
The rest of my gear is pretty much a mix and match of stuff I've picked up over the years.

"Gene Wensel shot deer wearing a Santa Claus suit so what does that tell you?"...that tells me that you can kill a deer in a santa suite, but it doesn't disprove that camo doesn't work.
Yes, camo is also a state of mind, and confidence is very important, but it goes beyond that.
I've always liked Predator since the 1st time I wore it afield.
