I wonder how the Buff Hunters are doing!
« on: May 25, 2005, 04:14:00 PM »
I know Ryan Rotthaar and Paul brunner are both gone to Australia hunting water buffalo right now.  I can't wait to hear how they are doing!  Has anyone heard from them?

I think they just left this week didn't they?  It should be interesting to see what unfolds.  Joseph

Yea, I think so.  I don't know if they are hunting together or in the same area or anything, but I keep hoping to get an email from Ryan.  Not sure exactly when he left or when he gets back, but it will probably be soon!

I think they are both hunting at the place where Rick McGowan guides.  Ryan was telling me about a while ago.  I'm sure we won't have to wait for them to get back to here some updates.  At least I hope not.  They were going to be there for 3 weeks.  Joseph

I just did a leather carving on a back quiver of a cape buff for a guy up in NY....last name Trump....the son...

When you start to do something like this it's amazing as you study the animal all the little things you don't notice just looking at one.  Especially an animal the size of a Cape Buffalo.

I have a photo for you, Jeff!  It is a picture of your knife next to a very large Buffalo Scrotum.  Man that knife is SHARP!  I swear I heard that dead Buffalo suck in his breath when I did the surgery!
