Hog hunting in EAST TEXAS
« on: February 11, 2006, 04:38:00 AM »
Don't know if this is the best place to post this, but I'm just getting back into hunting after about 6-7 years away from it.  I'm currently working on a bow that I plan to hunt with.  I live in Tyler, Texas and would like to hook up with any hog hunters in the area.  Anyone out there in my area that bowhunts them regularly?  Thanks

Jeff I'm on the other end of East Texas but there are some folks up around Tyler that will be interested. In the mean time you can check this ranch out. It belongs to Nick and Kelly Frame. Super nice folks. It's in Anderson County in Cyuga Texas not to terribly far from ya. They gotta lot a good boars. I killed a real nice 265lb European strained boar last time I was there. They have had a 1000 pounder killed there and a hog with 6 feet. He had two sets of front feet. Most of the boars will range fromm 200-250. Don't let the gun hunters scare ya away. Nick takes care of his bowhunters...
