The place to hit them is low in the chest right were the front leg joins. Sligthly behind the leg is OK. DO NOT shoot them like a deer or you will be tracking hog for miles. The lungs are small by comparison to a similar sized deer. A hog can go forever on one lung. There have been many pics posted in the PowWow and this thread. Broadside is best. They won't go far if you hit them right.
