Aussie Buff Hunting

I thought I would post a bit of information in relation to Buff Hunting in Arnhemland Australia.
This comment is how I foresee future Buff Hunting in Arnhemland and is only my opinion of current events.
The Government in conjunction with the Aboriginals in Arnhemland have meet with all safari operators to thrash out a proposal to standardise Trophy Fees and conditions applied to Safari Operations in that area.
Initial agreements would appear unworkable (in my opinion) and costs would have skyrocketed to approx double your current Hunting Safari.
After negiotations had been completed a workable solution has been achieved and the next 2 years are looking good. Given the agreements are likely to change in 2 years I would expect to have fees increase quickly and Safari Costs rising thus obviously being passed on to clients.
So for all you hunters out there who are looking to do a Buff Hunt in Oz I recommend you work quickly towards your goals.
I believe within 5 to 10 years Buff/Bantang Hunting will be very similiar to the way Africa is run.
Send me a message if anybody wants any further information.
Mick

Thanks for the heads up. That's too bad that that's the situation there, Michael. Always seems like that little bugger greed seems to have a way of working his greasy little fingers into places where he shouldn't be. Matt
