Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

Thats awesome congrats!! thanks for sharing your details of your equipment as well, I find all of that stuff very interesting. Did you test any other shafts broadheads into the expired buff?

So how did you get all of the meat home after you took him. You said you were hunting alone.

Just curious.....hate to see something taken and meat not used up somehow.

jerry- unfortunately i couldn't take any meat. i was 4km from the car, a few hundred meters of it was knee deep mud a few hundred more of tangled deadfall, all in 100F heat! it would have spoiled before i got it in the fridge. such is life in the tropics.
if i could have driven my ute to it i would have taken meat for sure.
i know how you guys are obligated to pack out all edible portions of your kills over in canada but all our game species here are feral animals not native and we don't have the same obligations, also you guys have the time.....you don't have the heat we have here.
i would have but i couldn't.
