Calling fall bears??
« on: August 01, 2015, 11:27:00 PM »
I'm headed to the woods just outside Jackson Hole Wyoming mid September, I've hunted black bears before but over bait. This will be a DIY hunt so we won't be using bait. Has anyone ever had any luck calling in this region or time of year? Dnt input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I am curious why you hunt on B.Bear?
Do you eat them?
Are we any smarter than animals? They are surviving much easier and better than human. Pay them respect they deserve.

black bear is going to be a hard challenge without using bait. I guess it is about the chase though. lol. when we were in co for elk, we saw a bear. calling will prob be a fun thing to do.be careful though calling in the evening. Im sure you would have mt lion come it too. lol
