DIY Ontario bear hunt
« on: October 10, 2015, 08:11:00 PM »
After 3 years of trying and a close encounter 2 years ago got a bear this season on the second sit.
10 yard shot. Arrow passed through the bear and stuck in a tree.
While tracking , 60 yards in another bear crossed our path and popped and growled at us. We backed out back to the stand only to realize the bear that growled at us had hit the bait. I wasn't sure if the bear that crossed our path was the bear I shot until then LOL. Resumed tracking and found my bear. Went 80 yards.
