It appears that somebody has stock in rubber band and wire companies!
So now we have a broadhead that shed pieces. Perhaps next they will incase the head in a plastic sleeve ala: black powder sabots.
Dang! There I go giving them ideas again!  "[dead]"

Oooh!  Ahhh!  Maybe the little trail of shed pieces will help you track the deer.

I wonder how they define "efficient."  It obviously isn't reuseable, has a complex manufacture, relies on several moving and seperate components, and costs $9 each.  On top of that, the first 3" of the enterance wound would be a 3/8" puncture instead of a 1" or better slice.

Give me a $2.35 RibTek any day over that gizmo.  But hey; it's patentable and someone may earn a living off it.

But then, the sports that will buy that head aren't launching a 650 or 700 grain arrow with lots of fletching surface area capable of steering a simple two-edge head.

For the deer's sake let's hope it works.

Now about that sabot head, you gonna use a titanium or depleted uranium core?

Wingman Charlie on your 6.  Feet are dry and fangs bared.  You're clear all the way to primary.

Tally ho!
