« on: December 31, 2003, 12:35:00 PM »
Hi All--
Bob Lee Archery is coming out again with the new Red Wing Hunter. $695.00. Back in about 1972 the retail price was about $49.95. What Happened?  LOL

Bob,
I seen the new one it's pretty , but a bit pricey for me.
I have some old Bow and Arrow magazines from 72&73, Anderson Archery Corp. lists the Red Wing Hunter at $32.95 list $67.00.
Some time back there was a thread about the brace height for the RW Hunter. According to the Wing Archery adds the Fistmele for the Hunter is between 81/2-91/4". I know I was having fits with mine anything below 81/4".

Hi Mark--
Thanks for the reply!  Back in 1972, my arrows sold for $15.95 a dozen + $3.00 for the tapers. Things have changed, haven't they? Kind of funny how this all works. I have came "Full Circle" in the archery world. Being back to nature and your roots are a very good thing. Thanks again!

IF you don't want to spend $695.00 on a new Bob Lee Red Wing Hunter.  I have two older models I will sell for half of that price each.  WHAT A DEAL!!!

CONSIDER THIS:

June 1964 - 1964 BEAR KODIAK 50#  I paid $40.00
Sept 1968 - SAME BOW         I sold it for $15.00

DEC 2003  - 1964 BEAR KODIAK 55#  I PAID $400.00

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.
