Pearson Deadhead Variations
« on: August 22, 2004, 10:55:00 AM »
Hi, I just came across some Deadheads and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the variations, prototypes, colors, sizes, markings, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

The first Deadheads were hand made by Ben Pearson. The vents and blades were hand shaped and the hole in front was drilled. The next version was die stamped, these have the back of the vent curved. The production heads have the back of the vent squared off. There were 2 sizes of the production: large was 150 grand the small was 130 gr.All were black and no markings.
