Value of signed Bear kodiak
« on: October 24, 2005, 04:40:00 PM »
I have a 1958, 56" kodiak recurve that Fred Bear made for his wife.  Fred wrote her nick name on the bow "HANK".  It's been shoot some but seems to be in great shape.  I bought the bow at Fred Bears estate sale after his and his wifes death.  If any one has an estimate of it's value please send me a PM.  Not sure if I want to sale it but I'm very interested in it's value.

thanks,

Donnie

I looked at the bow last night and have more information.  The writing reads "HANK BEAR" and the serial # is EK124.

Does the bow have white glass? Can you post a pic of the sight window side of the handle?
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.
