Still waiting for that monkey pic.And I been thinking,I bet he didnt fall from the tree but jumped not knowing how hard those Missouri leaves are.That would account for all that blood.

I know a guy who shot a monkey once...
well actually it was a baboon.  Said it was creepy when he grabbed it by the "hand" to drag it...EEEWWW

A friend went to Africa.  Said that when the baboons moved into the area, all bets were off as they would actually warn all other animals that danger was near and they would never leave.  It was actually hard to get away from them to get to the truck.  The PH told him he could shoot as many baboons as he wanted, that they were a pest and nuisance, actually cause beaucoup property damage as well.  So he got the chance and took it.  After holding it's hand he said he didn't want to shoot any more of them...
I don't know if it reminded him of a family member or what the deal was.

Any doe shot after gun season is quite an accomplishment.  I mean they've been shot, jumped, spooked, trampled upon, you name it, they've been through it.
