drake recurve
« on: December 22, 2005, 07:04:00 PM »
a friend at work brought his fathers old recurve in to see if I could get any info on it. He is not looking to sell but would like to know what its value is. His father traded an old cap and ball revolver for it in 1952 or 53 and it was used when he got it. The only info actualy on the bow is a small round sticker that says made by drake lakeside California and stamped into the riser opposite the shelf is the number 1300 there is a little checking in the origional finish but otherwise in great condition.his father said he thought it was a 72lb bow. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. you can reach me at [email protected] or post your replies here if thats not against the rules since its not for sale.
