I know nothing about the bow. However, if it is from the 70's and is in the condition you say it is, treat it very carefully. Not that it NEEDS to be pampered, but it probably has a good bit of collectors value so protect it from the bumps, bruises and wear. There are a lot of good shooting cheaper bows you can drag into the woods. I would keep that one in a case or on the wall.
