Recurves vs the First Compounds.
« on: September 03, 2006, 04:18:00 PM »
Did the first compounds out shoot recurves or was it the other way around.

I ask because the other day I brought out my OLD browning compound (dont know the name, all wood, no let off and one pin) and it dosent shoot as well as my long bow. It is alot slower and sounds like a 1022 going off. It is around 55lbs and my long bow is 60 so there shouldnt be much difference there. This bow wasnt one of the first compounds out there but it is vary old, my dad gave it to me and I think he got it form an old freind.
