Bear Grizzly Info?

Can anyone tell me how old this bow is? It was my Dads bow : Bear Grizzly 56" 53 lb. green glass serial # 9 R 20742 it has a flat gold colored medallion.  Thank you, Mike

It will be from 1969. In the late 1960th the serials started with the last digit of the year.
