If it has a green wood riser "futurewood" it's a 1970's bow,the serial# will probly start with a "K"

If it has letters then numbers it's a 1960's bow,the 1st number will tell you what year it was made (i.e. JU7541 would be a 1967)

I'm not an expert but I hope this helps some

KM's are pretty identifiable by glass color wood types etc. A picture would help. PM me if you wish

Draw length is normally assumed to be 28" unless stated otherwise. You can draw more or less than that but the listed draw weight will be at 28".
If I understood your question correctly then I hope that helps some.

The markngs are on the shelf side of the riser, below the grip. On this bow they are written in gold. Most bows have them in black ink. If they are missing, then it is likely that your bow was refinished.

Draw weight is measured at 28" from the back.. Bear usually stated the bows draw length as unlimited.(You can figure another 2 1/2 to 3#/in after that.)
The Little KM's didn't like to go over 30 but where reasonably stack free to around the 30" mark.

That is a curved stripe, looks like a 1964 or a 1965.

Killdeer - beautiful old Bear.  Is the finish original or has it been refinished?

bow is either a 64-65 or if it has a crowned shelf could be a 67 1/2

Doublegun, it is original. It came with the box...
It is a '65. (the year I got my 'kiddie bow"  :)  )
