TruTemper

I have one for the experts here.I just got this bow in a trade. It feels like it's about #25.Made from steel in a reflex deflex form.Looks like it is made from a half pipe and on the inside is the old decal that says TRUTEMPER.It has a bulky cork handle and looks like it can be shot from either end or side.I know Ace Hardware sold TruTemper for years and sold archery equiptment too,but never saw one of these.Any Idea about the history?

In late 1920th Dr. Elmer suggested  the idea of an U-section steel bow to Robert H. Cowdery, manager of the F.& H. plant.
Cowdery produced and sold them as "True Temper" for a few years. Chrome plated or just painted and demountable at the cork handle.
