« on: September 09, 2007, 05:29:00 PM »
I HAVE POSTED ON AN OLD HOWARD HILL BOW, THESE ARE SOME OF THE ARROWS I HAVE WITH IT. I CAN FIND NO MARKS ON THE HEADS, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN PURCHASED WITH THE BOW IN THE LATE 30'S EARLY 40'S. ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHETHER THEY ARE HILL OR WHAT? ANY VALUE OR SHOULD I SELL THEM WITH THE BOW?IS THEIR A HOWARD HILL MUSEUM ANYWHERE THAT MAY WANT THEM?THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP.

Sorry I have no webpage to post pictures. If you think you want to hazard a guess, email me and I will send pics. I am sorry I sound so lame, I used to think I was pretty sharp but copmuters are going to be my hemlock I think!

CB, back away from the hemlock, and go to Photobucket. You can get a free account and host your pictures there.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

The broadhead was made c. 1940. A barbed Howard Hill with machined parallel ferrule and one pin to hold the blade in place.
