Wow, I just pulled up the auction to take a look at what you got. WOW! You acquired a true piece of archery history. Really impressive. Take good care of it. There was another quiver like mine on the auction site last week. It was set in a little high, and if I remember right, went off without getting a bid. It would have been a bargain at the opening price of $59.00. It was not as slick as the one pictured above. I'll see if I can find a link to it and maybe you could get it to go with the beautiful Grumley you bought. CKruse

Mike, as you can tell I got excited over your acquisition too! That's one of the neat things about the collectors forum. It seems we all take some pleasure from each others finds and conquests! THANK YOU I CONTACTED THAT GUY ABOUT THE QUIVER BUT IT LOOKS PRETTY TRASHED, I THINK MY BUDDY D.W. HAS ONE OF THOSE, BUT HE IS IN QUEBEC BEAR HUNTING FOR ANOTHER WEEK AND A HALF. I WILL SEE WHAT THAT GUY WANTS FOR IT.

the whole set used to belong to (I Think) a guy named Russ Hoogerhyde who was national champ NFAA in the late 30s until 1940.
