Calico Dog.................Leg
« on: July 10, 2008, 12:44:00 AM »
Several years ago Wade Phillips coined the term Calico Bubinga in regard to the burled bubinga that showed up on a lot of the 1963 Bear bows. I sold a 63 Polar a couple of years ago for a lot of coin that had the most I'd ever seen. My little 40# Dogleg Kodiak is no slouch though! In the right light the riser just comes alive from top to bottom. These pics give an indication, but don't do it justice. CKruse

CAMERON

That is beautiful.

I have one that is perfectly MINT.  The most irredescent Bubinga I have ever seens.  Looks spectacular in the sunlight.  It is the only bow I keep in a sock, jut to protect that look.  It does not have thje burl look that yours has.]

If I were not so technologically challenged, I would post a picture.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.
