Need guidance.

Just bought my first real vintage bow. Its a 1952 Bear Kodiak. I want vintage Bear arrows and the correct vintage quiver. Where do I start looking? I have no idea.

If you string it, they will come.

(Be patient, and remember that it took 56 years for the bow to arrive at your doorstep. Meanwhile, do some research, cruise the bay, and 60 year old quivers and arrows will appear as estate sales are plopped online.)

DOES IT HAVE THE FACTORY SCREW FOR MOUNTING A QUIVER? IF SO I HAVE ONE.

ALSO HAVE A TAPE ON MODEL.

BOTH ARE LEATHER TOP AND IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION.

If it does have the quiver bushing on the side of the handle a Bear  3-Arrow Scabbard quiver would be the "correct" model.  

In 52 Bow quivers were kinda scarce but a few were around.  Most archers of the day used their favorite backquiver.  Not sure when the Nimrod came out but that would make a nice match for your bow as well.

Trap is correct.
This is page 7 of the 1952 Bear catalog and shows the only bow quiver available that year:
 
Why don't you post some pics of your '1952' Kodiak so we can check the dating for you.

To be honest guys I'm still waiting on it to arrive. I'll be able to answer your questions then. BJORN, I have no way to do pics,sorry. TonyW.you are right,it took 56 years to get one. That really put this search in perspective doesn't it?
