Looks like a 57 Kodiak to me, Grip looks original.

Nice bows, great shooters.

1957 Kodiak.  If that bow has been out of the bow sock more than half a dozen times I'd be surprised.

based on the weight and condition and the 57s reputation that bow could bring $400.00 plus easily.

I have a couple that are about nice, i would gladly sell them for that kind of money.. thats crazy.. in great times that bow is only worth $200 at max. i have sold a dozen or so of them and never got more than that.

wait... i like the other answers better     :biglaugh:

The thing is incredible. It looks like it's a week old. of course it's right handed and i shoot left and I don't think I could get myself to even string it up. Hoping CJ is a least a tiny bit low.

C.J., Please send me pictures of the nicer ones that you have along with prices. Times certainly aren't great right now so I assume you would sell for well under $200.00. I'd love to have a near mint '57 Kodiak.

Thanks.....Chuck

yep, looks like a nice '57 Kodiak, if you are buying it as a shooter,  be sure to check for limb twist.  Regardless of the cosmetic appearance it may still have a tweeked limb, the big sweeping curves in the '57's are notorious for twisting. Good luck.
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

I've sold several 1957's and the prices have ranged between 400.00 for the best one I had...to a 75.00 beater.Things are low right now.But 200.00 seems really good price for a clean 1957 Kodiak.CJ if you mave a mint condition 1957 Kodiak 60" 54-55# for around 100.00.Please email me.....thanks bowdoc

I guess I'll get in line 3rd for a mint 57K at $200.00 or less.

I agree with most here.  In good shape a '57 will (should) bring right about $200.  That one is in exceptional shape though  :)   It's also a less common weight.  $250-300 seems fair.  If it were just a few #s heavier it could easily go 300+

Okie, there are a lot of folks already looking for work and a bunch more about to be laid off.
Unless you need the money now, I'd put the bow away and bring it out again in the late spring if things are better then; but they could be worse.
ebat is a good indicator-have a look.
Trad archery stuff goes real soft under these circumstances.........good luck!
