Help identify this Kodiak
« on: October 27, 2008, 03:56:00 PM »
Hello all.

This bow is advertised as a «great condition» «still shoots straight» 1953 Kodiak...

I know it is not a 1953 (common mistake to read the pat. date as the built date) but with the pics and my limited knowledge of Kodiaks, I cannot date or even confirm that this is actually a Kodiak. The seller did not come back to me with any additional pics yet.

Any comments or insights anyone?

Thanks a bunch

Simon

Hmmmm. 61, I like that answer.

I wonder what the star shape glare/flash in the first pic is. Could it be the stamped star of a refinished bow?

The bow is sold. Not to me. The seller wrote saying that I could drop by to pick it up. He is near Philadelphia and I am in Montreal... With traffic and all it would have taken too much time.
