Searchin' for a Photo
« on: October 30, 2008, 05:39:00 PM »
A couple of times over the years, I have seen a photo of Bob Lee with an early (first year?) Red Wing Hunter and a caribou. This photo may have appeared in one of the early Wing catalogs. I would like to get a high-quality copy of that photo (maybe a high-resolution scan of the catalog containing the photo).

"Why?", you ask? Well, BowDoc recently restored an early (first year?) Red Wing Hunter for me, and I would like to have a nicely framed copy of that photo to go with my resurrected Red Wing Hunter.

I can send you a picture of me holding my Bob Lee Red Wing Hunter.  My bow may not be as pretty as yours, but I am prettier than Bob.

That picture was on the cover of an early catalog. One of the interesting points was the the RWH featured a Bear bow quiver in that photo. Pretty cool stuff! CKruse

That's because Fred Bear invented the first bow quiver.   :goldtooth:
