7-8" Bear Coin ? Jamison's Shop Project, Deer Hoof Bow Rack
« on: November 02, 2008, 06:06:00 AM »
My son is making a custom deer hoof bow rack for my 64 and 65 Kodiaks. I would like to have a large 7-8" Bear coin in the center, I can paint one if needed but thought it might be worth a try to see if there is something out there from an old archery shop.
   Let me know ...Roy

Might check on that auction site. There is a guy that sells Bear stickers on there of various sizes but they are a modern version I believe.

My post was made "tongue in cheek", hence the "LOL". I had written the seller and told him that was not Fred. Guess I'm not surprised that he didn't pull the auction or modify the description. Thank goodness no one bid on it.

Think I'll try painting one on the bow rack, I have a nice 1960 style drawn out and enlarged to look good, I'll let you know how it turns out.

The shop project is finished. We had to paint on the coin, turned out ok. It should look good with 1964 and 65 Kodiaks on it

Lets see a pic of the two bows on the rack.  Nice work.
