HI Wildbronco4   :wavey:  good to have you I just joind last week myself. I think with a dacron string it should be 4" shorter than the bow, but you might want to hear from some of these other fellas first.... they is real smart!  I realy just wanted to say howdy.

Hi and welcome!  I'm thinking that you need a 58 inch string and that string should be made of B-50 Dacron.  I'm sure somebody will be along soon to help out with a little more detail.

But to make sure, I'd check in with a trad store -I've enjoyed my dealings with George at Tollgate Traditions in western New York and he's made me some pretty nice strings - if you've got nobody close, he'd be a good one to call.

wild bronco, e-mail has been sent to you.

OK Bear experts, what does the A mean that is printed over the top serial number.  I have the same bow and my serial number has an A stamped over the serial number also.

Thanks

Howdy, yep 58"er oughta do it. Those old cubs are real similiar to the Bear Alaskan that I shoot. Man, those things have good cast. I hope your Cub does too.   :wavey:
