Friar Tuck Long Bow
« on: December 11, 2008, 06:22:00 PM »
Can anyone give me any information on a Friar Tuck Long bow?  I have just acquired one, and would like to know a little history.  I can't identify the wood, but it's very tight grained and caramel brown color.  It is 66" long and draws 40# @ 27".  The limbs are straight tapered from 1 1/4" at the fades to 5/16" at the tips.  The handle is leather-wrapped with no arrow shelf.
I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

Thanks
