I was wondering if any one has a general price range for a 1949 Bear Grizzly Static recurve with aluminum in the limbs? I know it's up to the purchaser & condition but I have a chance to pick one up & was curiuos what to offer.

I'd say 150 to 200.

The 1949 Grizzly was made with different belly laminations over the aluminum and their values do vary. The previously mentioned 150 to 200 is a good starting point for the most common in very good condition with the three standard decals. The most common and least valuable is cherry. Walnut belly lamination bows are a premium. There are additional riser variations that would bring an additional premium. A copule of other decals could be found on the earliest 1949 Grizzly bows, which could also bring an additional premium.
