I've always kind of liked the Bear Archery wrist compass thought they were kind of cool.
Here's a little project to fool with if you get bored.You can make these for about 10 bucks.Cheap and they work just great..bd

I had a funny experience with a compass this hunting season. long story short... dont hold a compass with a glove that has magnets in it. especially in the dark. :confused:

Good idea Bob I like it.MW one of the guy's from our elk camp showed up with a compass mounted into the butt end of his knife handle.Once he set the compass in with super glue.Well you know where this is going.It was not so free spining anymore.bd

You might laugh at a compass on the watch band, but in my country when the clouds set down on the tree tops you don't know which way is up let alone north or south. Its saved my bacon more than once.
