Help with spine
«

I've just ordered my 1st longbow, a 3pc Pronghorn. It's 55#@28" but I have no idea what my drawlength will be. I shoot a compound with a release at 28" draw. What I need to know is what spine arrows I should start tuning with. I'd like to shoot Carbon Express Heritage shafts with 3 or 5 gpi weight tubes, feathers, a 125gr head and a 50 or 100gr insert. So what spine should I start with?

Without knowing your draw length you will just be guessing but I'd suspect you're going to fall into the 150-250 range.

I was shooting 28" with training wheels, I now shoot 26 1/2 with a longbow, to give you an idea.
Good luck,

Ok it's arrived and it seems I have a 26 inch draw. Any ideas on where to start with the arrows?
