lone wolf climbing sticks?

When placing the sticks, do you let the sticks go above the stand and then step down to the stand? Also, What kind of safty harness do you use while climbing the sticks?. Thanks

It is always safer to step down than it is to step up.  When stepping up it is difficult to place weight in the stand and maintain safe footing on something you know is safe...your ladder.  Any kind of harness that has climber "D's" on each side will work.

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!
