WARNING : THIS THREAD IS AN APRIL FOOL

After a long negotiation, I finally got my hands on the Red Super Kodiak. Just got it in the mail on this first day of April.

WOW!!!!

A legendary bow revealed.

What a treat on a beautifyl Spring day.

You need to inshrine that in a humidity proof, air tight display box.

Simon -

Having seen several samples of your expert artistry, I knew right away you had doctored a photograph of an original Super Kodiak.

With all the recent discussion about the Red bow, your timing was perfect on April 1.  Everyone is eager to see that bow, myself included.

I kind of thought it may have been sprayed with a clear coat with red toner mixed in.It would look just about like your pics did a transparent red.Same as you would see on a custom car.
I actually at one time was adding a yellow toner to my clear coat for K-2's to match the original yellow varnish finish.
But now that you went ahead and April fooled us with that somewhat cool looking Super K pics. The bd's next red toned custom paint job will be on a bow rather then a car.Where do I send the bill ????????????? great job Simon I loved it.We're going to have so much fun in Que'bec together I can't hardly wait to get there bowdoc

I think it would have been more believable if you had colored the black phenolic red, and left the rosewood caps and accent stripes natural.

Good job though.

Actually I think it was a pretty bad Photoshop job. I kind of wanted it to be a little obvious for the «experts». Plus, I did not have much time at hand to do a «professional» retouch. Too busy with the Thunderbird to play...

PS : What the heck is Thunderbird anyways?
