Here is some old bowfishing stuff...
Mostly from the 1940s when wood and metal were about the only materials available for most bowmen.
There are 3 bowfishing reels and the business end of 5 bowfishing arrows..
Some are products produced by some historically significant archery personalities.
The Easter weekend trivia contest for the archer-collector-shooter-bowfisherman...
If anyone can identity the item and the maker of 8 of the 9 items, I will send all 9 items to that person… Only one winner, which requires 8 that are identified.
A few hints…
1. One item was made by a man who killed a moose 12 years before Fred Bear killed his first moose…
2. One man’s first name is Bob…
3. At least one of the items appeared in archery periodicals of the era…
4. One item was made by one of Fred Bear's earliest hunting companions...
5. One item was made by Bear Archery, it is so easy it should not have been in the photograph…
6. These items came from several different states.
7. Two wooden arrows have aluminum nocks, one is self nock.
8. One of the items has appeared in an auction within the past two years, but was un-named and undated.
Hinkley you can not play, you know too much already. I have duplicates of only one item, and you will get one...
