I shoot woodies out of my Hills, my Big Five is 48# @28" I shoot 50-55 cedar cut 28" to the back of the point. They fly good out of my bow. Hills are not center cut if yours is or close you might want to go to 55-60

get in touch with John at Sipsey River Traditional Archery (STRA). he is a sponsor on here and is great to deal with. personally I shoot the carbon Gold Tip traditional 35/55"s and have no desire to ever switch to anything else.

Bow weight is only one peice of the information needed to steer toward the right arrow selection. Also need to consider draw length (and thus arrow length), and what type of longbow you shoot. A high performance hybred longbow with the sight window cut to center is a lot different than a self bow for example.
I'm not an expert on arrow selection, but with the right information there are plenty of people around here that can help.

What Whip said. I have 53# self bows that like 45/50 spine and my MOAB at 47# likes 60/65 spine. How long a draw and what kind of bow makes a huge difference. Spine numbers were established before high performance and center cut bows.

I shoot several longbows that I made myself between #39 and #50 lbs @ 28".Straight limb bows like Binghams with the arrow rest 1" above string center and 1/8 inch from center cut.I use laminated birch 5/16" diameter/50/55 spine cut to 27 3/4".These arrows with 145 grain field points or 140 grain STOS or Grizzlies tune up real easy.Oh yes, 3 5 1/2 shield cut feathers and weigh about 580 to 620 grains all up.Hope this helps.

2018 or 2115.i believe your bow is center shot and the string is highperformance.Your arrows will be about 30 inches.a 2020 may work as well with a heavier point,160 drain or so.woodies in 60 to 65 or 65 to 70# spine.

The bow is actionwood and will pull about 52/53# at 29.25. I have a 49# that draws 52@29 and a 50# that pulls 53#@29. The Vortex gains ~3#'s per in over 28". Fine bows.

I'm guessing arrows around 60 lbs spine is what you will need. Just have to tell us what kind of arrows you want to shoot. Maybe go 65 and add a little more weight up front.
