I think I finaly found one of the good deals i keep reading about. I found this Grizzly for sale, and had to jump on it. The limbs look great, the riser has had a partial refinish, but it still needs a little sanding.

Your bow is later than 55. The silkscreens started in 56, prior to that it would have the earlier decals. Cool old bow, you gotta love the static tips! CKruse

Looks like the '57 Grizz to me... is there a purpleheart wedge in the tips or a belly underlay?

I guess I was off by a year or 2. But it will still turn a few heads at the local 3Ds this summer. it dose have a wedge by the tips that could be purpleheart.
