Has anyone had a chance to shoot one of the new Thunderhorn 3pc. longbows? I know his one piece is nice, but I'm curious how the T/D measures up to other T/D longbows. Thanks, knobby

Kelly hopefully will chime in. He owns one and has told me they are better shooters than the 1 pc. And I have never heard a bad comment about the 1 pc design!

Kelly does have one and I had the opportunity to try it out. Absolutely beautiful workmanship and very smooth and fast.

In reading my response I don't want anyone to think the 1 pc is not a great longbow. Like I said above I have never heard a negative comment regarding Thunderhorn's 1 pc.
Also, here is what Duane said in a email he sent me regarding his 3 pc.
"Joe-
the 3 Piece follows the lines of my one piece pretty closely, but it shoots faster. I think it (the 3 Pc T.D.) is my best shooting bow so far.
Regards,
Duane"

Thanks, guys. I should have known to check with Kelly about one. What bow hasn't he had? (That's meant as a complement. An envious one, but a complement none the less.) Great source of information and a great guy.

Knobby,
My bow just came in on Friday. It fits me perfect in every way. It's just like his quivers, "pieces of artwork that are fully functional" It's now my faviorite longbow!
