A little broadhead trading ?
« on: June 13, 2009, 02:26:00 PM »
Every time a old head shows up there is alot of interest in it so I know quite a few of you guys are hoarding...I mean collecting old heads.

I was wondering if any body would be interested in starting up a broadhead trade thread to try to rekindle some friendly trading between collectors in this buy and sell *-bay world, that is if it doesn't violate TG policy.

Maybe post a pic of a few heads you have for trade or list a few you are on the prowl for. Keep it small, keep it simple, keep it fair and everyone wins.

Just a thought and if it doesn't work no harm no foul.
                              Thanx, Shep

I know that alot of the big boys are packed up for Comptons but I doubt anything would come up that they need. They can still play though.
Would be good for the guys fairly new to collecting heads.

Shep......good idea...once I get to Compton next week I'll get some pic's out. Anyone that can join the ABCC I can send out a bunch of heads to get them started also...there are well over two thousand different kinds of glue-on Broadheads on our clubs list right now......lots to collect....Hink..   :archer:

I had not heard of Kobra X-calibre 2 blade.

Looks like a Hilbre ferrule and a Arrowmate blade

What kind of bleeder goes in it to make it a 4 blade ?

SHEP, IT COULD VERY WELL BE AN ARROWMATE BLADE BUT ITS NOT A HILBRE FERRULE. IN FACT ITS STAMPED KOBRA AND X-CALIBRE. THEY HAVE 2 DIFFERENT BLEEDERS. ONE IS LIKE ANY NORMAL BLEEDER AND ONE IS A REVERSE BLEEDER--SOMETHING LIKE THE INDIAN. THE BLEEDERS ARE VERY SMALL. THEY DO COME JUST AS 2 BLADES BECAUSE I HAVE A BOX OF SIX NEW HEADS THAT ARE 2 BLADES AND IT TELLS YOU THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT BLEEDERS IF YOU PREFER A 4 BLADE HEAD.

This is a cool Idea. Jave'how do you join the ABCC? I only have a few old ones, a lot of Bears and I've tried to corner the market on Pearson Deadheads.
