I went out side this afternoon to see how I could shoot this tourney.  There are several inches of snow and a new 3/4 inch of rhime ice.  I set the target in the back of my garage and marked 15 yards down drive.  I promptly shot 2 holes in the back of my garage.  Good news is the target is still good to go for start of tourney.

Rod, Why not post your scores? It'll just give us poor souls sumthin to aspire to and an incentive to shoot better.   :bigsmyl:

Can a newbie join? I haven't shot any bow for about 15 years and am wanting to get back into it. I have a couple used bows on the way. I just hope they are useable.
I just have one question. When I hit that X from 15 yards, how do I prove my next 4 arrows went into the same hole?

I am googling to find someone that makes 15 yard arrows. Do we need a pic with the arrows in the target or just the holes? The original just shows holes.

One suggestion from a newbie that knows little about traditional gear - Could the bow name used be added to the pic with the score and name?

I know the archer is the reason for the score, but it would be interesting to see what bow.

LMAO...Greg, I'm not sure there is room for 5 arrows in the X ring. The arrows suppliers should be doing good in the next couple of months...I forsee quite a few robinhoods, but dang man your gonna have a hard time proving 5 of them....   :knothead:      :goldtooth:      :biglaugh:

I don't see a problem adding the bow name.....I just NEED the screen name of the shooter and the score...

I think the target with holes would be sufficent since it's hard to visualy score a target with arrows still in it by picture.

Ok so count me in.  I saw one person said they set up the target by their garage and put two holes in the garage. I'll be scoring just behind him I think.  Glad I stubled across this site in the last week or 2.

I am a recent convert and would like to toss my arrows into this, especially since I won't be the only one putting holes in a garage wall!!

Seriously.....shooting all 5 arrow, at one time @15 yds, is not gonna be a reguirement, is it?

Up to you....I suppose you can shoot one at time.....save some arrows that way.

I am going to shoot all five at one time since I am in no way worried about ruing arrows    :goldtooth:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

this is all on the honor system so do what you feel is right. The only "reguirement" will be to have fun and not take it to seriously...I mean it's 15 yards at a target the size of a basketball!
