Wing Plastic Riser?
«
on:

Can anyone tell me about the Wing Presentation 2 with the black synthetic riser? I've seen it referred to as "micarta" and "formica".
Were there any problems with these as far as durability or shooting?
Thanks,
Allen

Micarta and Formica are similar man made materials but those risers were made from linen micarta. No problems others than the little cracks that show up throughout the micarta over time. Have not seen one of these cracks to be extensive and effect the shooting.
