Hink, I will chime in with a wild guess. In retail there are times when a retailer will take a "bulk" shipment and break it down for sale. Possible that this might be what this was used for? Someone could come in and buy the bleeders 1 at a time? Also, with my very limited Bear knowledge I have never seen a "font" like what you have there. Doesn't look like Bear type printing. Again, just a wild guess. Hope all is well.  John

Hink -

I have seen the font on the card somewhere, but have no idea where - just the font not the card that I can remember.

I believe Frank's guess is correct. On the phone earlier today, I told someone the exact same thing.

The Bleeders were also sold in bulk form as a "brick", with dozens of them all stacked together to form a brick. Not sure how many bleeders it took to make up complete brick. I've seen a few bricks, but only one that was unmolested. I have part of a brick somewhere around here. It has a giant pop sickle stick in the middle of the stack of inserts to give them more rigidity.

Hink -

Just looked at your card a little closer and believe that I have a far better idea about its intended purpose.

It looks like it was made for Bear Razorheads, not the bleeders...

Notice that the slots are staggered so the top row of heads will close in between the bottom row of heads.

Also the top row is in a different position horizontally on the card, when the top row of heads closes, it will be higher then the bottom row of heads.

Remove the bleeders and put in 12 Bear Razorheads and you will see how flat the card closes...

If I am correct, you owe me a beer.

Cody - After those books arrived at your home today, I thought you were supposed to be reading "Adventurous Bowmen"... not goofing off on the Internet.

How is that book report progressing, about finished?

Just joking, take your time and do a good job.

Wade.....It only makes sense now that I really think about it besides how it is set up with the slots offset, the card reads "Bear Razorheads" and it closes flat and there's glue residue from tape strip that held it close. The hole at the top of the card maybe to hang it up for sale.

Thanks for the help guys.

Found another Brick Stick.....life is good again.   :D      Hink

Hink - That looks a lot better with the Razorheads on the card. I'm certain that is what your card was used for originally.

I've always called the stick in the Razorhead brick by the name "giant pop sickle stick". But just now realized that it is probably a wooden tongue depressor from the doctor's office. I believe I'll have mine checked to see if it has Fred's DNA on it. LOL

Cody - I have a grandson in college. I'm old enough to be your grandpa. That is not a joke.
