whipped
« on: December 06, 2007, 09:56:00 PM »
my new Toelke whip bow came in today.
I had another whip I got in a trade with a tradgang member and sold it to fund this bow. Dan (the bowyer) has exceeded my expectations with this piece of art he's created. He recieved my money order on the 9th of november, and here I am with the bow in less than a month. He also shipped it in a pvc tube which is the best shipping packaging I've ever had a new bow come in. It has a macassar ebony riser with bloodwood accents. Bamboo limbs with stunning zebrawood veneer's. 62" long and 46lb@30"
my camera is stuffed so pics may take a day or 2.

Mr. Toelke rewls!!!

Unlike a bowyer that I am currently dealing with.....Mr. Toelke is courteous, prompt, honest, and not arrogant.  His bows are super light and comfortable to use.  I have clocked 500+ grain arrows at 180+ fps off my 55# whip.  The bow was in my hands 5 weeks after I spoke to Mr. Toelke to spec out the thing.  I made a mistake not plunking down money for a new Toelke and I have been paying the price since last June.  Never again!!!!

Just my $0.02

That is a beauty!!! I have a 60", 46# @ 27" that should be done in a couple of days. I can't wait. Dan Toekle has been so helpful and courteous in helping me order the right Whip. I will try to post photos when it gets here.
