Trap - After looking at your arrows a few days ago, got to thinking of what 59 arrows to use this fall. Don't have any 59s that really appeal to me. So figured I make some 1959 reproductions.
Looked through the 1959 Bear Catalog and didn't see any color scheme that looked appealing.
So it made sense to borrow the color scheme from this set of older Bear X-200 arrows that have always been a favorite.
Applying the older X-200 yellow black colors, to the 1959 X-100 cresting pattern on page 17 of the 1959 Bear Catalog, resulted in the three possibilities below for a plan... The black cock feather is probably still the best...
Bear always used lots of different color schemes throughout the year, but the cresting patterns of the X-100, X-200 etc remained consistent throughout the year, sooooooo it's got to be OK to use another Bear Color Scheme other than what is shown in the 59 catalog... If my arrows turn out half as nice as yours, I'll be happy...
