People NOT going to Denton Hill
« on: July 20, 2009, 07:57:00 PM »
Well I can't go to Denton Hill because my oldest son (Adam) is turning 21 and I am having a big shin dig with 25 of his closest friends over.

I'm trying to cheer myself up about missing out on Denton Hill and here's what I've come up with-

SHould be a good weekend to look for bows on "the big site" as all of our competition will be gone!!!

Yikes Bill,

I don't even have 25 friends, let alone close ones--and I'm twice his age+1 this weekend.

I was real close to roadtripping it to Denton, but it's just not to be.  You see, I have to stay home and try to repair the broken bow I got from a friend when I visited Maryland.   :banghead:

Hopefully I can have it ready by October.

Good thing I don't have 25 friends, I'd go broke fixing bows. That LT420 is like 3200 bucks a gallon!

Happy Bday to your son.

Bernie

p.s. I could probably make the road trip to Cody's house! What time?

I'm in the same boat guys. By the time Denton rolls around I have deposits to pay for hunts, bows to pay for,(that I don't need) and a certain amount of time I have to be in the office. Meets are neat; hunts are neater. I would probably go to Cody's place though.  Grant

Do you have full hookups for RV's, firewood etc. How many targets are you running, should I bring acouple also. I can bring a takedown for you to shoot too. This will be your 1st shoot there....your the Man Cody.....Hink..    :archer:

I shot my buget going to MTB jamboree in Grayling last month.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
