Gift from Fred Bear
« on: August 10, 2009, 04:32:00 PM »
A friend of mine has a bow that was given to him by Fred in 1961. He was 14 at the time. The # EXPF 60"@47#. The bow is painted camo. Me,"to bad you painted it. Him," I didn't, that's how it was when Fred handed it to me. This bow looks like it might have been made in the fifty's to me. Thanks for the input.

The "back story" It was my friends 14th birthday and his cousin who worked at the Bear factory took him on a tour. When they were finished the cousin says "Ive got one more thing for you to see." Here comes Fred Bear wished my buddy happy birthday gave him the bow, quiver and arrows.  He would have been happy just to meet the man. Pics coming soon.
