Neat old bow sight and broadheads
« on: August 13, 2009, 09:45:00 AM »
I picked these up last night.I'm sure some of you guys seen this before,I thought it was pretty neat.An old METRIC BOW SIGHT,it has crosshairs and a dial on top that you turn to adjust up and down.I like step #3 on the instruction sheet,it tells you once you have it mounted on the bow,now step back to 80 yards and start sighting in from 80 yards down to 10 yards in 5 yard intervals and mark them on the dial. You are now ready for the most accurate sight possible. It's never been used,I also picked up some Herter's Special Ram MX broadheads never used or sharpened in the box.Any idea when the sight come out,Year of the broadheads???? Thanks

They are both quite interesting. I see the sight was made in St. Clair Shores, MI. That is in Detroit along Lake St Clair. Dont think that company exists anymore.

As for the broadheads...What in the world does thrust shock meen? A .38 caliber bullet comparison?
No hunter should feel guilty for killing a deer that doesnt meet someone else's expectations.

I have a bunch of those broadheads. Very sturdy but a real pig to sharpen..
