Future Wood Arrows
« on: August 15, 2009, 02:12:00 PM »
Ok, they're not really future wood, but I've been enjoying my future wood Kodiak Hunter so much I thought I'd make up some arrows special for it.  I had a lot of fun tracking down the right color of stain and paint and getting the stripes laid out just right.

They also work great for a brace height check.

Just thought I'd share the results.

Very very nice!!  I think I will try that.  And that is a great cresting machine.  Does having the block on top of the support really help stabilize the shaft?

Hey Ron the block on top does seem to help.  Probably because my nock holder isn't the best and allows the shaft to wobble a bit.  It's still a work in process and needs a few more tweaks.

Now that's pretty darned awesome!

My luck I would do that and then decide to change my brace height...

You did a great job, it looks fantastic.

Brian - Great "matching arrow". Inventiveness and superb workmanship.

You will have to put another cresting pattern at the point end of the arrow and post of photograph of you at full draw...

Bernie - Brian's arrows are automatic brace height checkers.

Good idea, Wade.  That might help cure my case of target panic that flairs up occasionally!

Very nice workmanship and a cool idea.

Looks like the string is color coordinated as well.
